Shooting Star Vines was founded in 2018 and is family-owned and operated. We strive to create a sustainable environment that promotes healthy grape growth, maintain minimal harm to nature, and encourage prosperity to our 20-acre plot of land located outside of Faribault. We would love to show you what we have accomplished and share the beauty that we have cultivated!
The Thilmany Family
Shooting Star Vines is a family owned and operated business. Allan and Jennifer Thilmany have travelled this world and found what is important to them is their children and being close to the beauty of nature. With an added benefit of neighbors that they can’t see, Al and Jenn decided to start a vineyard. To make it a truly family operation, their children Kyle and Garrett help in different aspects. Kyle helps with the behind the scenes operation and Garrett is the vineyard viticulturist. All of Garrett’s hard work is evident in the way that the vines grow strong and enhances the gorgeous view of the prairie.
